چکیده
Abstract Using electron-positron annihilation data samples corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.5 fb , collected by the BESIII detector in energy region between 4599.53\; \,{\rm{MeV}} and 4698.82\; we report first observations Cabibbo-suppressed decays \Lambda_c^+\to n\pi^+\pi^0 n\pi^+\pi^-\pi^+ Cabibbo-favored decay nK^-\pi^+\pi^+ with statistical significances 7.9\sigma 7.8\sigma >10\sigma respectively. The branching fractions these are measured be $\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_{c}^{+}\rightarrow n\pi^{+}\pi^{0})=(0.64\pm0.09\pm0.02)$?> %, n\pi^{+}\pi^{-}\pi^{+})=(0.45\pm 0.07\pm 0.03)$?> nK^{-}\pi^{+}\pi^{+})=(1.90\pm0.08\pm0.09)$?> where uncertainties second systematic. We find that fraction \Lambda_{c}^{+}\rightarrow n\pi^{+}\pi^{0} is about one order magnitude higher than n\pi^{+} .

Cabibbo-allowed and Doubly Cabibbo Suppressed D → Kπ Decays
For over two decades, the D → Kπ has served as a workhorse in charm and beauty physics. However, there is general interest in measuring all the D → Kπ branching fractions. In particular, while it is often assumed that B(D → K Sπ) = B(D → K Lπ), interference between D → Kπ and D → K0π can break this equality. Although this asymmetry is expected, measuring it has alluded experiments because of th...
متن کاملStudy of the Cabibbo - suppressed decay modes
Using data from the FOCUS (E831) experiment at Fermilab, we present a new measurement for the branching ratios of the Cabibbo-suppressed decay modesD0 → π−π+ and D0 → K−K+. We measured: Γ(D0 → K−K+)/Γ(D0 → π−π+) = 2.81 ± 0.10(stat) ± 0.06(syst), Γ(D0 → K−K+)/Γ(D0 → K−π+) = 0.0993 ± 0.0014(stat) ± 0.0014(syst), and Γ(D0 → π−π+)/Γ(D0 → K−π+) = 0.0353 ± 0.0012(stat) ± 0.0006(syst). These values ha...
متن کاملD Mixing and Cabibbo Suppressed Decays
The CLEO collaboration reported observation of the ‘wrong sign’ decay D → Kπ in 1993. Upgrades have been made to the CLEO detector , including installation of a silicon vertex detector, which provide substantial improvements in sensitivity to D→Kπ. The vertex detector enables the reconstruction of the proper lifetime of the D, and so provides sensitivity to D−D mixing. We will give preliminary ...
متن کاملInterference between Doubly - Cabibbo - Suppressed and Cabibbo - Favored Amplitudes in D 0 → K S ( Π 0 , Η , Η ′ ) Decays
A definite relative phase and amplitude exists between the doubly-Cabibbosuppressed amplitude for D → KM and the Cabibbo-favored amplitude forD → K0M0, whereM = (π, η, η): A(D → KM) = − tan θCA(D → K 0 M). Here θC is the Cabibbo angle. This relation, although previously recognized (for M = π) as a consequence of the U-spin subgroup of SU(3), is argued to be less sensitive to corrections involvi...
متن کاملPuzzles in Cabibbo-Suppressed Charm Decays
We identify two Cabibbo suppressed D decay modes with anomalously high branching ratios which are not simply explained by any model. All standard model diagrams that can contribute to these decays are related by symmetries to diagrams for other decays that do not show any such enhancement. If these high branching ratios are confirmed by more precise experiments, they may require new physics to ...
